Soya 65




Ingredients:

Soya or meal maker : 1 cup

Ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp

Kashmir red chilli powder : 1 tbsp

Garam masala : 1 tsp

Turmeric powder : ½ tsp

Corn flour : 2 tbsp

Lemon juice (or) Vinegar : 2 tsp

Salt : to taste

Curry leaves : 10 nos

Oil for deep frying

Method:

1. Boil Soya for 5 min; let it soak in hot water for 10 min.

2. Then squeeze out excess water from the Soya. Wash the balls in warm water for 2 times squeeze it so that raw smell comes out.

3. Add all the ingredients except oil and marinate for 20 min, then deep fry it in oil.

For My Daughter


OATS UPMA

Ingredients:

Oats - 1 cup
Mustard - 1 tsp
Cumin seed - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Bengal gram - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 2 No’s (finely chopped)
Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 tsp
Onion (big) - 1
Carrot - 1/4
Water - 2 ½ cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Curry leaves - as required
Coriander leaves - as required


Method:

1. Heat the kadai, and fry the oats without oil for 2 min.

2. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard when it splutters add urad dhal, Bengal gram and curry leaves.

3. Then add onion, carrot, green chilli, ginger and saute well.

4. Now add water, garam masala, and salt. When water boils add oats and keep the flame in low.

5. Cover the kadai with a lid for few min.

6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
